Gauge and Swatch
S: 26.4 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches or 10 cm
M: 24 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches or 10 cm (Lightly felted to 28 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches or 10 cm)
L: 22 stitches and 22 rows = 4 inches or 10 cm
NOTE: Please pay attention to your gauge and use whatever size needle you need to knit 24 stitches and 24 rows for 4 inches (for medium). While teaching a class on these slippers, I have seen knitters use needles as small as a US 2 and as large as a US 5.
