Norwegian Slippers eBook
This is a collection of 12 slippers designed over the past few years. There are twelve slippers: Nine for women, and 1 for men and 2 slippers that can be made for men or women. Hansen is the largest and has the same gauge as the rest of the slippers, just more stitches. For Han Christian or Inge make the women's slipper with Dk and the men's with worsted weight. The stitch count is the same, it's all about changing the gauge. The rest can be made to fit by tweaking the gauge. There's a whole section on how to make the slippers fit different sizes. I hope you find all this information helpful. There are a few extra details not found in the original patterns.

Lady Cordelia Cardigan
In 2022 I designed Lady Cordelia for the PEI Fibre Festival. My original vision for this design was this Colorful Cordelia. I was traveling when I designed this cardigan, and had to have the yarn arrive at my house by the time I got home so that I could knit the cardigan in a week and get on a plane to teach at the PEI Fibre Festival. I didn’t have time to get the colors just right, so I ended up knitting Lady Cordelia with two colors. I picked green and white as as a love letter to Green Gables, and I loved it, but the original vision still haunted by dreams. So here we are, four years later, and I decided to knit the Lady Cordelia of my dreams. Because I was knitting from my dreams, it took some yarn creaativity to get the colors just right. I started with Isager Jensen for the main color along with the perfect green mustard, and then by trial and error I ended up with making a 3-ply yarn with Isager Spinni for the red, and a 2-ply yarn by using Isager Tweed together with Isager Alpaca 1. Every color ended up being the same weight and the color combo is just what I had envisioned in my head. I hope you love it as much as I do and that it becomes a beloved piece in your wardrobe.
This pattern is similar to the original Lady Cordelia, but it is updated with my latest favorite techiques. I knit this Colorful Lady Cordelia with three colors at once, but if that is alot for you, it works beautifully to knit with two colors, substituting the third accent color with the MC and adding the third color with a series of duplicate stitches. I did that in the test knit and you can’t tell the difference, so knit in the way that is most fun for you!
It’s knit bottom up. Knit in the round. Knit with Steeks to make the knitting a snap, and makes tailor-fitting the sleeves a breeze. I hope you will give steeks a chance. It’s such a brilliant traditional technique. If you are Steek shy, please reach out to me. I could add instructions on how to knit Cordelia without a Steek if needed. But I would love it if Cordelia would give you the courage to give steeking a chance.
