Astrid Cozy Pattern

Regular price $6.00 Sale

I love this beautiful 4-color cowl (often 3 colors are carried at once) made with Rauma Tumi. This cozy has a subtle white and grey Latvian braid at the bottom and top of the cowl and colorwork in-between. This is the perfect project to learn how to manage 3 colors at once. To manage all those strands, I hold two contrasting colors in my left hand and the background color in my right. Don’t forget to catch the floats of all the different colors. There is a rhythm to this. It’s a bit like a dance. Catch the floats at the same part in the pattern repeat. Don’t shy away from this. It’s a really fun and rewarding knit. It’s lined with light grey and is reversible. It’s as beautiful inside as out.
You will use almost all of the white and grey Tumi skeins, half of the dark blue and a quarter of the light blue skein.
